The BTech Level 3 Extended Diploma is a vocational qualification in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland by Pearson. It is equivalent to A levels and is often required for entry to higher education. Starting from 2016 or 2017, students may be assessed through external exams in addition to coursework. Cambridge or Oxford may require additional traditional qualifications alongside the BTech for admission.
