In this tutorial, you can learn how to extract images from a PDF file. If you want to extract a single image, highlight it, right-click, copy image, paste it in MS Paint, adjust the size, and save it. However, if you have multiple images, it can be time-consuming. A simple trick is to open the PDF in a Word document, save it as a webP file, and all the images will be saved in a folder. This method can save time and simplify the process.

You can easily convert PDF files to editable text in Linux using the pdftotext command line tool. However, if there are any images in the original PDF file, they are not extracted. To extract images from a PDF file, you can use another command line tool called pdfimages.
1. docHub Open the PDF document that contains the images you want to extract. Next, go to the toolbar and select View Tools Document Processing. Once youve done this, a menu appears on the right side of the Acrobat window with an option called Export All Images.
Or, go to the menu and select File Export to Image. Choose image format type (e.g., JPG file, TIFF, etc.). Click Export. In Save As dialog box, save your file.

docHub Pro to Extract Images from PDF Launch docHub Pro. Open the PDF file from which you want to extract images. Go to the Tools panel and select Export PDF. In the export options, choose Image and then select the image format (e.g., JPEG, PNG). Specify the image quality and other settings.
Just follow these steps: Go to the Acrobat online services website. Upload the PDF you want to extract the image from. Select the page or pages you want to extract. Click Extract. Download the new document to your device.
Extract text from image with Google Drive. Upload your image or PDF to Google Drive. Right-click your file in Google Drive and select Open with Google Docs. Wait for your file to load and convert. It may take some time, especially if theres a lot of text to convert.
Open the PDF in Acrobat, choose Edit, and then select the image or object. Note: Select multiple items if you want to edit them together in the same file. To edit all the images and objects on the page, choose Select All from the context menu.
