Choose File Print. Click the PDF button or click the down arrow to open the PDF pop-up menu, then choose Save as PDF.
Go to the Pages option in the printing preferences window and choose the From option to set the pages you want to extract. Once you have chosen the pages you want to extract, click on the button at the bottom left of the window and choose the Save as PDF option from the drop-down menu.
To print only some of the PDF or image pages, choose View Thumbnails, then Command-click the thumbnails of the pages you want to print. Choose File Print.
Navigate to File Print. A new dialog box will appear. Under Pages, select the page number you want to save separately. From the dropdown, change from PDF to Save as PDF.
Press Control (on Windows) or Command (on Mac) and click on the pages you want to extract. Right-click on the selected pages. Choose Extract Pages In the new dialog box, check Extract Pages As Separate Files if you want each page as a separate PDF.
You can select and copy text from a PDF opened in Preview, then paste it into another document such as an email message or text document. In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to copy from. Do any of the following: Copy text: Choose Tools Text Selection, drag over the text, then choose Edit Copy.
You can export a PDF or image to save it as a different type of file. In the Preview app on your Mac, open the file you want to export. Choose File Export, then select a file type from the Format pop-up menu.
Save one page with a Mac: Open your PDF in Preview. Go to File Print. A new pop-up will appear. Under Pages, select the page number you want to extract as a new PDF page.
