Now I often get asked about how to import new contacts or export all of your contacts from the Contacts app on your Mac. I want to talk about both of them here because its easier to demonstrate one if you see how the other works. In fact, Im going to start with exporting. So even if what you want to do is import, its important that you see what Im doing with exporting so you can properly import contacts from another source. First let me point out that if you want to import or export using the standard vCard format then its really easy. You can select one contact or many. You go to File, Export, and Export vCard. This can sometimes mess up apps and features on your Mac, like drag and drop. So try to turn it off in the settings and check if the drag-and-drop issue is fixed.
Copy a formula by dragging the fill handle in Excel for Mac Select the cell that has the formula you want to fill into adjacent cells. Rest your cursor in the lower-right corner so that it turns into a plus sign (+), like this: Drag the fill handle down, up, or across the cells that you want to fill.
Export or archive contacts in Contacts on Mac In the Contacts app on your Mac, select one or more contacts. Choose File Export Export vCard, choose a location, then click Save. The contacts are exported as a vCard file (. vcf) only.
