You can connect your Google Pixel to a computer in two easy ways. Your Google Pixel can connect to a computer through your Google account or a USB cable. If youre using a USB cable, youll have to double check that it fits both your Pixels port and your computers USB slot.

Option 2: Move files with a USB cable Unlock your device. With a USB cable, connect your device to your computer. On your device, tap the Charging this device via USB notification. Under Use USB for, select File Transfer. A file transfer window will open on your computer.
Connect Pixel to Mac using a USB cable. Open the MacDroid app and navigate to Devices in the main menu; your Pixel phone will appear in the list on the left. If prompted on your phone, grant your Mac access to the Pixel device. You must select a connection method between the phone and computer: ADB or MTP.
With a USB cable, connect your device to your computer. On your device, tap the Charging this device via USB notification. Under Use USB for, select File Transfer. An Android File Transfer window will open on your computer.
For those with a Windows computer or Chromebook, plug the cable into each port, unlock your phone, and tap the Charging this device via USB notification. Then, under Use USB for tap File Transfer. A window for file transfers will then appear on your computer, and you can use that to drag files onto your computer.
