Exporting your Address Book Open Outlook. Click File Export (Figure 1). Uncheck all items except for Contacts and click Continue (Figure 2). Create a name for the file and choose the location where the file will be saved.
Export or archive contacts in Contacts on Mac In the Contacts app on your Mac, select one or more contacts. Choose File Export Export vCard, choose a location, then click Save. The contacts are exported as a vCard file (. vcf) only.

If you are using Outlook for Mac setup and have a Microsoft 365 account, your contacts are not stored on the server. They are saved on your computer. To see your On My Computer folders, you can enable the option in Preferences. Select Personal Settings | General and deselect Hide On My Computer folders.
