Today's tutorial will demonstrate how to sign a PDF document with a certificate-based digital signature in docHub. To begin, download docHub from its official website for free. To sign a document with a certificate-based digital signature, you need a digital ID containing your name, email address, issuing organization, serial number, and expiration date. In docHub, digital IDs are used to sign or add signatures to documents. Follow the steps to create a digital ID: go to the edit menu, select preferences, then signatures. Click on identities and trusted certificates, then choose digital IDs and click add ID. If you already have a digital ID from your organization, you can add the file. Fill in your name, department, organization name, and email address to create a new digital ID.
At DocHub, your data security is our priority. We follow HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, and other standards, so you can work on your documents with confidence.
