How to add a combo box (dropdown menu) to a form? Step 1 - Choose the Combo Box feature. Step 2 - Place the field on your PDF. Step 3 - Set your Combo Box properties. Step 4 - Choose Value List Option. Step 5 - Add Values. Step 6 - Edit Public Name and Value Name. Step 7 - Confirm the new value list.
Select Save . On the File tab, choose Save As . In the File Name box, enter a name for the file, if you havent already. In the Save as type list, select PDF Files (*.pdf) or XPS Files (*.xps) , and then choose Save .
Open both workbooks, the one containing the drop-down list and the one containing the source data. In the source data workbook, select the range of cells you want to use as the source for the drop-down list. Copy the range by pressing Ctrl+C. Switch to the workbook where you want to create the drop-down list.
To copy the dependent drop down list, lets do a regular copy/pasting: Select the cell with the secondary drop-down (C3) and press Ctrl + C to copy it. Select all other cells where you want the dependent list to appear (C4:C12) and press Ctrl + V to paste the copied contents.
For anyone who stumbles across this problem, you can right click on the dropdown, and Inspect Element. Right click on the selector and choose copy inner html. Open up Microsoft Word and paste your contents in.
Click File Save as. In the Save As dialog window, select PDF (. *pdf) from the Save as type drop-down list. If you want to view the resulting PDF file after saving, make sure the Open file after publishing check box is selected.
Right-click one of the cells you highlighted and click Paste special. The Paste Special dialog box opens and displays several pasting options. Click Validation followed by OK. Excel copies the drop-down list to the cells you selected.
How to copy drop down list in Excel Select the cell with the drop-down list and press Ctrl + C to copy it. Select the cells where you want to add the dropdown. Right-click the selection, click Paste Special, and then select the Validation option. Click OK.
