Today, Im going to show you how to take the data from your PDF form fields in docHub Pro and export just the form field data into Excel so you can track and analyze the results. Now, this is different from just how to convert a PDF file into an Excel file. If you want to know how to do that, be sure and check out the other video on my channel. Lets take a look. Okay, I have my file folder open here on my desktop where I have four of the same PDF forms filled in. Its the same form, but its filled in by four different people. So, Ive saved those out here onto a folder. And so what Im going to do is show you how to open this in docHub. Im just going to right-click, and were going to say open with and select docHub. And this is going to open in docHub Pro. So, this is the completed form, and these are the form fields that I want to export into Excel so that I can do some further data analysis. In Acrobat, open the completed form file. From the All tools menu, select Prepare a form and then from the left panel that opens, select Export data. In the Export Form Data As dialog box, select the format (FDF, XFDF, XML, or TXT) in which you want to save the form data.

Export file data In Acrobat, open the completed form file. From the All tools menu, select Prepare a form and then from the left panel that opens, select Export data. In the Export Form Data As dialog box, select the format (FDF, XFDF, XML, or TXT) in which you want to save the form data.
To extract fillable fields in a PDF, select a completed document as a template and click Extract in Bulk on the right pane. Define the fields with data you would like to extract. Click Add New Data Field in the upper right corner and draw a rectangle around the data youd like to extract.
Create form fields Open the document in Acrobat and select Edit Prepare a form Create form to convert your document to a PDF form. Choose a form field from the left pane. On the page, select where you want to add the field to create a field with the default size. Place the field at your desired location.
