I want to talk about both of them here because its easier to demonstrate one if you see how the other works. In fact, Im going to start with exporting. So even if what you want to do is import, its important that you see what Im doing with exporting so you can properly import contacts from another source. First let me point out that if you want to import or export using the standard vCard format then its really easy. You can select one contact or many. You go to File, Export, and Export vCard. Export contacts Go to Google Contacts. Select one of the following: A single contact: Tick the box next to the contact name. Multiple contacts: Tick the boxes next to all of the contacts that you want to export.
Below are easy steps to export Apple contacts to Excel via Numbers app: Run Numbers app on your Mac. Open the Contacts app. Put the Contacts window and Numbers window side by side on your screen. At the top right, click More actions. Export. To back up your contacts, select Google CSV. To save your file, click Export.
Export or archive contacts in Contacts on Mac In the Contacts app on your Mac, select one or more contacts. Choose File Export Export vCard, choose a location, then click Save. The contacts are exported as a vCard file (. vcf) only.
