This video tutorial demonstrates how to apply Google Sheets conditional formatting across an entire row. To do this, first, select the range of cells where you want to add a checkbox. Then, go to Insert and choose Checkbox. Next, go to Format and select Conditional Formatting. Ensure you are on the Single Color tab and enter the range for the Apply to range field in A1 notation. Under the Format rules section, select Custom formula is from the Format cells if drop-down menu. In the Value or formula box, type equals dollar Q2. You can also type equals dollar Q2 equals true for the same result. Q is the column with the checkbox. Adjust the formatting using the Formatting style box, then click Done. Check the checkboxes to ensure the formatting was applied correctly.
