How to change the default PDF viewer on Mac. Right-click on the thumbnail of any PDF file. On the menu, click Get Info. Navigate to the Open With: section and select docHub or Reader from the drop-down list. Tap Change All to apply this change to all future PDF documents. Tap Continue to finish.
Fix 2: Update the PDF Reader and your Macs Firmware If you cant save a PDF file on a Mac, then it can be related to an old or outdated version of the application or its firmware. At first, you need to make sure that the docHub Pro application is up to date on your system.
Open a file from the desktop or the Finder Double-click a PDF or image file to open it in the Preview app. Select one or more files, then choose File Open With Preview. To open a document in iCloud Drive, click iCloud Drive in the Finder sidebar, then double-click the PDF to open it.
You can export a PDF or image to save it as a different type of file. In the Preview app on your Mac, open the file you want to export. Choose File Export, then select a file type from the Format pop-up menu.
Open the PDF document. On a Mac, this will open the preview app. Using the thumbnail views, scroll down to the first page that you want to save separately from your PDF. Drag and drop the single page from the thumbnail of the PDF to your Mac desktop.
Save a document as a PDF on Mac On your Mac, open the document you want to save as a PDF. Choose File Print. Click the PDF button or click the down arrow to open the PDF pop-up menu, then choose Save as PDF. Choose a name and location for the PDF file. To protect your document with a password, click Security Options.
FWIW, Export as PDF is greyed out when the file is already a PDF. The difference is that the former opens the inspector window, the contents of which will change to reflect whatever file you select; the latter will always show the information of the same file.
