Apply Mod Podge to the back of the paper or to the project surface and press the paper firmly to the surface, let dry completely. (Do NOT apply a top coat until the paper has dried completely to the surface.) Let it set for about 5 minutes, then recheck your project to see if there are any more bubbles.
Covering a glossy photo in a coating of ArtResin is easy - in fact, epoxy resin takes photographs and pictures next level, sealing and protecting them with a professional looking finish and a glossy sheen that makes colour pop!
Mod Podge seems to be the sealer of choice for paper crafts with many a devoted follower. I also like it but would say that the main disadvantage of mod podge is that it can really show brushstrokes. So imagine how excited I was the first time I tried MATTE Mod Podge.
Since paper is a porous material, the fibers can absorb the resin or epoxy. This can create staining, darkening, or uneven patches. To prevent the paper from soaking up any resin, it first needs to be sealed so the resin remains on the outside.
A great way to harden cardstock or paper that has already been formed into a paper craft is with acrylic varnish. The best medium to use is spray varnish, which is quick-drying and waterproof and will protect your craft. It will also help to get into any hard-to-docHub spaces which liquid varnish could not get to.

You can use any kind of paper with resin, provided it has been sealed first. You can use photographs, cardboard, stickers, tissue paper, and even book pages in your resin creations. Using resin over your paper art will give the piece additional depth whilst providing a beautiful finish.
Sealing Papers with Mod Podge Glue The very first method we want to suggest is using Mod Podge, which works as a glue, that will adhere to textiles, papers, and other porous materials. Moreover, you can use Mod Podge for nearly any surface.
Applying a layer of varnish or wax to make the paper water-resistant to display your paintings on paper without a frame. If you paper is unframed, you can choose to apply a layer of protection from water and humidity. I sometimes use varnish and sometimes use wax for that purpose.
Yes, you can use ArtResin epoxy resin over paper, but since paper is available in many different qualities, coatings and thicknesses, its a good precaution to seal paper before you resin. A sealant creates a barrier, preventing the resin from seeping into the paper and creating dark, wet spots.
