To protect it, without any additional tools or cost, open the PDF in Acrobat Reader, go to File > Print, select "Microsoft Print to PDF" in advanced settings, and check the "Print as image" option. Without this setting, the text can still be copied from the PDF. By printing the document as an image, the text cannot be copied, achieving the desired outcome.
