This video demonstrates how to use the Antis Fluent Multi-Scale Multi-Dimensional (MSMD) battery model to simulate the electrochemical behavior of a single cell battery. The battery geometry includes a cell, positive and negative tabs, with the cell as the active zone and tabs as passive zones. Electrochemical reactions occur only in the active zones, and the potential field is solved in both active and passive zones. To load the MSMD battery model, enter "8" in the text command interface, enable the transient solver and energy equation, select the equivalent circuit model, specify C rate, and define the coefficients for the ECM model equations. Use the parameter estimation tool in the model parameters tab for additional customization.
