In this tutorial, I will show you three ways to sign documents and forms using Foxit PDF Editor Suite Pro. A quick and easy way to sign PDFs is by using the so-called ink signature. Its a great method to sign internal documents like PTO requests and expense forms. Please keep in mind that this method does not have the verification and security as signing with a digital signature or esigning with Foxit eSign. First, go to the Protect tab, and choose Fill Sign. Next, click on the big plus icon to add a signature. You can type, draw, import, paste, or download a signature. Lets import an image of our scanned signature by uploading it. Under Options, you can, for example, choose if you want to convert the signature to black and white, or require a password to open the signature. To add a digital signature to a PDF in Acrobat, users can take the following steps: Open the PDF document in docHub. Click on the Tools tab in the top menu bar and select Fill Sign. Click Sign Yourself Add Signature. Drag and resize the signature so it appropriately fits in the document.
Sign in and apply digital signature. Sign in to your digital ID provider and select your digital ID. Then select Next to apply the digital signature to the documents signature field.
On the Tools menu, click Form Options. Under Category, click Digital Signatures, and then click Enable digital signatures for specific data in the form. Click Add.
Check the PDF security certificate. Security features on the PDF file itself could block signing. You can check the security options with your PDF editing software. If you cant sign PDF, you may have to ask the author for an unlocked version.
