To sign a PDF document with a certificate-based digital signature in DocHub, first download DocHub from its original website for free. In order to sign a document with a certificate-based digital signature, you must obtain a digital ID containing information like your name, email address, organization name, serial number, and expiration date. In DocHub, digital IDs are used to sign or add digital signatures to documents. To add or create a digital ID, go to the edit menu, choose preferences, select signatures, click on more for identities and trusted certificates, then select digital IDs and click the add ID button. If you have a digital ID from your organization, you can add it by selecting the option to add the digital ID file. Type your name, department, organization name, and email address to create a new self-sign digital ID.
