To clear hyperlinks without changing format settings, first select the cell or range of cells that contain the hyperlinks. Then, click on the Clear option in the Editing group of the Home Tab. Now, select the Clear Hyperlinks option under the drop-down list.
Use the mouse to right-click on the selected cell(s) then, from the right-click menu, select the option Remove Hyperlink (or Remove Hyperlinks if you have more than one cell selected). This option removes the hyperlinks and the formatting from the selected cell(s).
Heres how: Click the cell with the hyperlink. On the Home tab, right-click the Hyperlink style and pick Modify. In the Style box, click Format. Click Font, choose your formatting options and click OK. Click OK to close the Style box.
How to delete all hyperlinks in 2 clicks (Excel 2021 2010) Select the entire column with Hyperlinks: click on any cell with data and press Ctrl+Space. Right-click on any selected cell and select Remove hyperlinks from the context menu. All hyperlinks are removed from the column :-)
Then, click on the Clear option in the Editing group of the Home Tab. Now, select the Clear Hyperlinks option under the drop-down list. This will display a small pink-colour eraser at the right bottom of your selection. Click on it and choose Clear Hyperlinks Only to clear hyperlinks but keep the formatting.
You can remove multiple hyperlinks but retain the formatting by copying a range of data containing multiple hyperlinks and pasting them to a new location using the Paste Values command (from column A to column C in the example pictured below).
