Open the PDF file you want to edit in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool on the right-hand side of the screen. Select a text block and make changes in the PDF or erase words using your keyboard. Erase entire text blocks by clicking Delete when the block is highlighted.
PDF Viewer FAQ Open the document editor by pressing the thumbnail grid icon in the action bar. Make sure you are in the edit mode. The floating edit button will have changed to a plus sign. Select one or multiple pages in the thumbnail grid. Press the delete button. Press the confirm button and choose a save option.
Turn off the Preview Pane in Windows Explorer. If that doesnt work, try Shift+Delete to permanently delete the file.
Open the Files app. Look for downloaded files. Tap the file. Tap Delete or tap More Delete.

Look in the Downloads folder. Open your Android app drawer by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Select My Files (or File Manager). Once youre in the My Files app, select Downloads. You can tap the Browse icon at the bottom of your screen to search for a PDF quickly.
If a file is in use by an app, you will not be able to delete it. Try restarting your device. This can sometimes fix minor glitches and errors. Clear the cache and data for the Google Files app.
