Occasionally you run into problems with the OST file getting corrupt or taking up too much disk space. Heres how you can resolve those issues. The OST file is used to store offline data so that when you travel you can work on emails and then connect back to your network and send and receive those at a later time. That information is stored in an OST file located on your C Drive. You can see where thats located by going into File, Account Settings, under Account Settings and click on Data Files. In the list youll see a location of the OST file. If you go into Settings, Advanced. This is the outlook data file settings. First thing to try is to do the Compact Now to shrink down the disk space used but if the file is corrupt or if it doesnt work properly because of an error then you may need to delete the OST file completely from your C Drive. To do that lets go back and click on the open file location. You can see here that the OST file is fairly large. In my example its 4

With the file open: Click File. Move to trash. In Drive: Click the name of the file, in the top right, click Remove.
How to delete a table? Place the cursor somewhere in the table. Choose Table Delete Table.
To start the track changes in any document, from menu select Edit - Track Changes - Record Or press Shift + Ctrl + C . Once you do that your document is in review mode. Any change you do now would be highlighted based on the changes you are making.
Turn on Track Changes to show edits made in a document, and use Show Markup to show the types of revisions youd like to display. Select Review Track Changes to turn it on. Make edits in your document and Word captures any edits you make. Select Review Track Changes to turn it off.
On the Review tab, select Track Changes. Select Accept or Reject. As you accept or reject changes, Word will move to the next change. Tip: To move through changes in the document without accepting or rejecting them, select Next or Previous.
To begin tracking (recording) changes, click Edit Changes Record. To show or hide the display of changes, click Edit Changes Show. To enter a comment on a marked change, place the cursor in the area of the change and then click Edit Changes Comment.
You can delete files with sudo rm [files to delete] .
Deleting a table Click somewhere in the table. Select Table Delete Table from the main menu.
You can remove blank pages in Writer using the following options. Option 1: Place the cursor at the beginning of a blank page and click backspace or delete. Option 2: Place the cursor at the end of the page before the blank page that you want to remove and press delete.
To delete the table of contents from a document: Right-click anywhere in the TOC. From the pop-up menu, choose Delete Index/Table. Writer deletes the table of contents.
