hi its Robin welcome to another episode of 8-bit show-and-tell Im recording this episode just before Christmas and that means its wintertime here in Canada so I thought to celebrate I had written a little program here Im just gonna start it up I realized Im not gonna be able cut out all my arms and ahhs and everything because youre going to see the snowflakes jump every time I do that but anyway if I could try that just for the intro this is a low routine I wrote thats interrupt-driven it basically its generating generating these snowflakes each time it falls a new one is randomly built and theyre cheating its like quad quad flakes my friend Darren called them because theyre not six ayah therefore sighted but basically one quarter is randomly generated and then theyre mirrored and flipped to produce the other sides by surprised by how interesting some of the patterns are and apologies to my friends in Australia who snow has nothing to do with Christmas there theyre going
