Here I am going to demonstrate how to import data that is not in any valid year data file format into ArcGIS and in this case we are going to import your data in text files to be specific we have some sort of table data table stored in a text file that includes geo data in this case if we have point coordinates in the table that we would like to import in arcmap so here I have some data I have a background map always important I have downloaded a general map from the Swedish cadastral authorities and this map is if we have a look here it is in the raster format its quite simple format enough for this demonstration because we are not interested in doing any fancy stuff with the map we are just interested in importing that point data in the text file so we also have a text file here and for you who are not familiar with the text file format if we have a file with dot txt for example we should be able to open it just double click on it and it will use notepad or WordPad as default in Wi
