Draw on any PDF document. From the menu bar on the right, select Comment. Select the marker icon in the Comment toolbar to activate the Draw Free Form tool. Draw on the PDF. You can change line color, thickness, and opacity in the Comment toolbar.
Hold down the CTRL key while highlighting the text your want marked. If your line is reasonably straight, when you release the mouse and CTRL key, the application will then straighten it out. Then you can actually select the highlighting as if it was an image, which it actually is, and move it around.
Place the mouse on top of the ruler and use mouse scroll wheel to rotate and position the ruler. Use the pen to draw a highlighted line above the ruler, this line will automatically be aligned to the direction and position of the ruler. Hope this helps.
How To Highlight Text in a PDF Open the file with the PDF Editor. Click on the highlighter icon. Choose Freehand Highlighter or Text Highlighter. Pick the color and thickness of the highlight. Most likely because the file is composed of images (possibly scans) and does not contain any real text. If you cant select the text with the text selection tool then you cant highlight it, either. Use other markup tools, like the Square tool, instead.
