You can use our online PDF editor in any web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. It also works on any operating system, including Mac, Windows, and Linux.
If you need to add stuff to a PDF document, now you can do that online with Firefox. Open the PDF in Firefox and click the Text or Draw buttons in the upper right corner to make changes to your document. Download the file to save it with your changes.
The next time you click a link to download a PDF file, Firefox will show you a prompt asking what to do with the file. You can then choose to open it with Firefoxs built-in PDF viewer, open it with a different PDF application, or you can choose to save the file.
Open the PDF and choose Tools Protect Encrypt Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
PDF file handling options Go to Options Applications, then find the listing for Portable Document Format (PDF). Under the Action column, youll see that its set for Preview in Firefox. Click the drop-down list to select an alternate PDF viewer.
How to separate pages in a PDF using a browser Right-click the file you want to separate. Click Open with and select a browser. Click the print icon within the PDF on the browser window. Instead of selecting a printer, select Save as PDF from the destination drop-down. Select Custom from the pages drop-down.
Unfortunately, the Firefox PDF viewer doesnt support filling a form in the PDF file. Firefox would normally detect that the PDF file contains a form and warn you about this and offer to open the file in another application.
The PDF Viewer in Firefox doesnt allow for editing a PDF file, especially one that is online. To edit a PDF file you would need to download and save the PDF file and then use an external PDF application or editor to edit that file.
