In this video, we will show you how to disable PDF printing. Firstly, open Windows Explorer and locate the document you want to protect. Right-click on the PDF and select "make secure PDF" in the PDF writer. In the printing and viewing tab, ensure the allowed printing checkbox is deselected. Click publish to confirm the protection status has succeeded. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Locklizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, as the print icon is greyed out and keyboard shortcuts are not functional.
