Open the PDF in Acrobat, and do one of the following: Go to All tools Protect a PDF. From the Protect a PDF toolset in the left pane, select Encrypt with password. Select File Protect Using Password.
The sender has an option when creating the agreement to set a specific password that is applied to the signed PDF document. This password is required to open and view the signed PDF file.
To sign a document using docHub Reader, first open the PDF document in the docHub Reader DC application. Click the Fill Sign button in the right pane. Click the Sign button on the toolbar and select Add Signature to add your signature to docHub Reader DC.
Step 2 Choose the password-protected PDF that you need to sign. In the Security Method drop-down menu, select No Security. Enter the Document Open password or Permission password to open the PDF. Step 3 Click Sign Add Signature or Add Initial then place your signature by using drag and drop.
How to lock a PDF form after signing it Open a PDF in docHub Pro and choose Forms Signatures Prepare Form. Double-click the necessary signature field to open its Properties. In Signed, tick the box Mark as read-only. Save changes.
For a PDF Portfolio, select Protection Security properties from the hamburger menu (windows) or Select Document Properties from File (macOS). In the Document Properties dialog box, select the Security tab. Select the dropdown next to Security Method, and then select Password Security.
Open the PDF document with docHub Pro/Reader DC or XI application. On the right side, click Protect to open the Protect options. Click on Protect Using Password option. In the Protect Using Password dialog box, click on Editing.
Sign the PDF using your Androids browser. Upload the PDF you want to sign. Use the toolbar to complete the fillable form and add your electronic signature. Rename and save the document. Download the completed form to your mobile device or get a shareable link.
