in this tutorial we will learn how to add an image to a part surface so here ive mocked up a coke can first of all go to 3d model i will insert a new plane which will be tangent to a surface and parallel to a plane so well select this surface to be tangent to then well select the x y plane to be parallel to then right click on that new working plane go to new sketch well insert the image so thats under the sketch tab so insert image and well select the correct image here which is the coke can decal press ok you can place this anywhere for the time being and we want to position this correctly so an easy way to do this would be to draw a rectangle around the image itself and then another rectangle onto the coke can itself where we want the image to wrap around drawing a center line there as well right click and put that as a center line and then we use the collinear constraint between the two top lines two bottom lines then its scaled correctly and well use the symmetry constrain
