Click on the Insert tab on the ribbon and click on the object icon. Click Create from file, then Browse, and search for the HTML file on your hard drive. Click OK when you have selected the desired HTML file. Check the Link box if you do not want the file to be embedded in the PowerPoint document.
Go to the slide where you want to embed the file. Click on Insert from the top menu and locate object on the banner options to insert any file into the presentation. You can add a Microsoft Excel Workbook, a Microsoft Word Document, a pdf, or any other file type if it is listed in the options.
Insert an embedded object Click in the slide where you want to place the object. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Object. Do one of the following: If the object does not already exist, click Create new.
Switch to the Insert tab and click on Web Page in the LiveWeb section. Under Insert you have new options in PowerPoint. This starts an assistant, the first step of which you can skip. In the next dialog, enter the address of the website.
In PowerPoint, go to the slide where you want to insert the content. On the toolbar ribbon, select the Insert tab, select Video, and then select Online Video. The Insert Video dialog box opens. Paste the embed code in the box named From a Video Embed Code, and then press Enter.
When you embed a PowerPoint presentation object in your document, Word runs the PowerPoint slide show when you double-click the presentation object in the document. You cannot edit the presentation within the document. The presentation object can be embedded only, not linked.
In PowerPoint, on the Insert tab, click or tap Object. In the Insert Object dialog box, select Create from file. Click or tap Browse, and in the Browse box, find the Excel workbook with the data you want to insert and link to. Before you close the Insert Object box, select Link, and click OK.
Open the file. Go to File Info. Select Protect Presentation, point to Restrict Permission by People, and then Select Restricted Access. In the Permissions dialog box, select the Restrict permission to this presentation check box, and then select More Options.
