hey guys Trevor here and in this video Im going to show you how to send a PDF file through email on your iPhone now if you have a PDF that you need to send to somebody else and youre not sure exactly how to get that PDF over to them via email Im going to walk you through the steps the first thing that well want to do is make sure that you have this files app on your iPhone so here is the files app it is a default app on your iPhone that Apple makes and you can see here it has iCloud drive at the top and then on my iPhone so you want to make sure that you get that PDF onto your iPhone either download it or save it to your files depending on how you have that PDF you can just here lets open up this PDF at the bottom left here you can hit this share and then just save to files and you can save it to your downloads folder on your phone so you want to make sure that youre able to save that PDF onto your phone now the next step of setting that through an email is hopping out here and o

Locate the PDF file and click on it. At the bottom of the window, click Open to select the file. Click on the Send button to complete the process and send your email. At the bottom left corner of your Gmail screen, youll see a confirmation message that your email has been sent.
For MMS to work, your iPhone needs to have the correct settings selected. When you send a PDF file, its not sent as a regular text message, but as a multimedia message. Regardless, ensure that Send as SMS is toggled on in your settings. Files will automatically be sent as an MMS.
Navigate to the PDF you wish to send. Tap the send icon on the top right portion of the screen. In the new dialog box, you have the option to share via email, or you can send a copy via AirDrop, Messages, or other third-party apps such as WhatsApp.
Send files from Files on iPhone Touch and hold the file, then tap Share. Tip: To send a smaller version of the file, tap Compress before you tap Share. Choose an option for sending (for example, AirDrop, Messages, or Mail), then tap Send.
To find scanned documents open the Files app (found on your home screen or in the App Library). Navigate to where your scanned documents are saved, which could be in the iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, or any other connected cloud storage service.

By default, Scanner relies on the Apples Mail app to send scans via email. If scans cant be sent from Scanner, this is most likely because the Mail app is not installed, properly configured, or your email is simply stuck in the Outbox.
Using the Files app Open the Files app. Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner of your screen and select Scan Documents. Scan your document, then tap Browse at the bottom of your screen. Find and select your file, then tap the Share icon in the bottom-left corner. Select the Mail app to email your file.
