How to Change Default PDF Reader on Android. Go to Settings Apps and then find the default PDF viewer youre using. Tap on the PDF viewer app you want to make your new default and scroll down to Defaults. Tap on the Default tab and then select your desired programme as your new default.
How to download PDFs on Android devices. Open the file you want to save as a PDF. Tap File on your Android, then select Print. Select the dropdown menu and tap Save as PDF. Pick your preferred location for your PDF and press Save.
How to delete downloaded PDFs on iPhone. Open the File app. Tap Browse, then On My iPhone. Tap and hold the icon or file name for the PDF you want to delete. Choose Delete from the drop-down menu.
You also have the option to extract PDF pages from your Android device natively. Open your PDF on your Android. Tap the three-dot menu button. Tap Print. Select a printer and choose Save as PDF. Tap the dropdown button below Paper size and change the Pages to be Range of 8 instead of all.
Highlight the page thumbnail or thumbnails you want to delete from your PDF. Click the dustbin icon in the top toolbar to delete the selected PDF pages. Click Save and rename your new PDF file. Download the file or get a link to share it.
How to delete downloaded PDF files from Android phones. Open the Files app. Look for downloaded files. Tap the file. Tap Delete or tap More Delete.
Look in the Documents folder. On Androids, all document files including PDFs, text files, CSVs, and more are stored in the Documents folder. Open your Android app drawer by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. This can be accessed by tapping the icon on the home screen. Select My Files (or File Manager).
Tap on Documents and you will see the file manager page. Tap and hold on the PDF file you would like to delete for 2 seconds and it will be selected. Tap the More icon (three vertical dots) in the top-right corner. You will see the option to Delete the PDF on the list, tap to delete selected PDF(s).
