Customise the layout of your invoice templates Click on the organisation name, select Settings, then click Invoice settings. Next to the standard template you want to update, click Options, then select Edit. Update the Page size, Top margin, Bottom margin, Measure in and Address padding fields. Click Save.
You can change the invoice format in Tally by Pressing Ctrl+P and configuring the print settings. The print configuration allows users to show/hide fields, details, caption, description, print logo, etc.

Sending your DJ invoice Most of the time, youll submit your invoice by email if you do, PDF is the safest option. This is because the formatting should stay the same regardless of how the client views it. Even if youre sending it to a dedicated address (such as invoices@) keep your subject line relevant.
A DJ invoice should include details such as the event date, location, hours worked, equipment used, music playlist information, rates, and payment terms.
To revert back to classic invoicing, if you open an invoice, at the bottom of the page you can see the option Switch to classic invoicing as per the screenshot.
To set a new template: Once you have found a template you like, click Use this template. Scroll down to Template Settings. Different templates will have different available built-in fields, such as payment terms or notes to customers. Fill in the fields, then click Save Template Settings.
