those darn columns theyre always too big or those silly rows theyre always not the right size if youve said either of these things then this video is for you im sheriff you founder of excelsior.com and today were going to cover how to resize columns and rows in google spreadsheets inside of your google spreadsheet you have columns that are just way too big so youre going to select the column you want first and move the cursor just to the side in between those two letters that you want to resize youll click and drag it and the one on the left is going to be the one thats affected same concept with the rows if you go between the rows until that icon changes to the arrow that is what its going to actually click and drag and move the size differently im going to undo with command z on the mac or ctrl z on the pc you can select multiple at a time and then choose the same type of thing click and drag and it gets that same width my favorite is to select as many as you want and then
