The quote line editor lets you view all your quote lines and apply changes across the entire quote or to individual lines. If your quote line editor shows a field above your quote line list, you can edit that field and then save or calculate the quote to apply the field across all your quote lines.
Description. Quote Line Items are automatically created when the Quote is created from an Opportunity based on the Opportunity Products attached to that Opportunity.
Quote lines store information about the products that a sales rep has quoted. With certain page layout and field-level security settings, some fields arent visible or editable.
Words can be added or changed to a quote by using brackets. Changes can be used to correct tense or to add necessary information. Brackets can also be used to make the pronouns in a quote consistent. However, brackets should not be used to change the meaning of the quote.
Select Edit Lines on a quote record to open the quote line editor. The quote line editor lets you view all your quote lines and apply changes across the entire quote or to individual lines.
The quote line editors search filter can be used to filter products, assets, or subscriptions by their field values. It can also work in conjunction with Actions which are to be specified in the corresponding field on the Search Filter record. A blank value in this field means the filter is global.
You can have any number of drawers open or closed simultaneously and edit fields as needed in each drawer. To view a Standard Product lines drawer, click the arrow icon on the far-right side of the quote line. Select the table header arrow to collapse all line item drawers for that table.
