How to open a password-protected PDF file in Android. Open the docHub Reader app. Navigate to the location of the PDF file on your Android device. Tap the PDF file. You will be prompted to enter the password. Type the password for the PDF and press OK. If the password is correct, the PDF file will open.
Removing PDF passwords on an iPhone Pick the PDF file you want to unlock by opening the Files folder from the main menu. Next, after entering the password to unlock the file, tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen and select Change Password, then tap Remove Password.

You can open and edit protected PDFs in different ways. If a PDF has a document open password, youll need to enter it to open the file. If it has a permissions password, you can remove it to unlock the file and edit it using certain programs.
Unfortunately, iPhones dont have built-in editing capabilities for password-protected PDFs. However, you can use third-party apps like Wondershare PDFelement. These apps allow you to enter the correct password, edit the documents content, add annotations, or convert it to another format.
How to remove password from PDF Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro on Windows or Mac. Choose Tools Encrypt Remove Security. If the document has a Document Open password, click OK to remove it. If the document has a permissions password, type the correct password in the Enter Password box and then click OK.
