Hey everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you my favorite free PDF editor, LibreOffice Draw. With LibreOffice Draw, you can edit both traditional PDFs and also scanned PDFs. It also has lots of other capabilities as well, and Ill show you what some of those are today, and once again, best of all, its entirely free. Lets jump on the PC and first off, Ill show you how you can get it. To get LibreOffice Draw, open up your web browser and head to the website libreoffice.org. This will drop you on the LibreOffice home page. So, what is LibreOffice? Well, the easiest way to think of it is its kind of like Microsoft Office or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Its an office productivity suite and one of the applications included is called LibreOffice Draw and this allows us to edit PDFs. To do so, open your PDF file in docHub, then click on the Edit PDF tool in the toolbar on the right. When youre in form editing mode, you can make several types of changes to the PDF file. You can edit text, alter a field name, or add new text and fillable fields.
All you need to do is open a PDF file in the new Firefox and use the markup options in the upper right-hand corner to make any necessary adjustments. You can either fill out existing fields or add a text box for additional comments. You can also ink a signature.
Open your file in the Acrobat PDF Editor. Select Fill Sign on the right side of the screen. Choose the Add Text tool, which looks like an upper-case A next to a lower-case b. Click anywhere in the PDF where youd like to add text and start typing.
Unfortunately, Firefox currently doesnt support filling forms in PDF files. You will have to download the file and open the file in an application that is able to handle this kind of file. There should be a button on the toolbar of the built-in PDF viewer to open the PDF file in an external application.
If you need to add stuff to a PDF document, now you can do that online with Firefox. Open the PDF in Firefox and click the Text or Draw buttons in the upper right corner to make changes to your document. Download the file to save it with your changes.
Unfortunately, the Firefox PDF viewer doesnt support filling a form in the PDF file. Firefox would normally detect that the PDF file contains a form and warn you about this and offer to open the file in another application.
Open the PDF in Firefox. Click the Text button to choose a colour and text size before selecting where on the document you wish to add text. Its that easy!
