I have a print out here with data that I  would like to get into Microsoft Excel,   but I definitely don't want to  have to manually type that in. Luckily, I can take a picture on either my PC or  on my phone, and I can convert that into data,   and it works surprisingly well. Let's check out how to do this. Here on my PC, I have a somewhat grainy looking  image that I would like to bring into Excel. To bring this image into Excel, up on the  top tabs, let's click on the one titled data. Over on the left-hand side, let's  select the from picture icon and   here we see the option for picture  from file. Let's click on that. You can now navigate to where  you have the picture on your PC. I’ll select this image and over  on the right-hand side now,   it looks like it's analyzing my image  and it's also preparing my data. I bet it's going to do this  a lot faster than I could. It's now successfully finished extracting my data,   but I notice that a few of these items down  below are red....

Add and edit an image In Google Drive, open your document or presentation. Drag an image from your computer, or do the following: Click Insert. (Optional) To edit the image, click the image. Image options or Format options. Make any changes: Choose a different color option.
Edit pictures Adjust the brightness, contrast, or sharpness. Select the picture. Select Picture Format and select Corrections. Apply artistic effects. Select the picture. Change the color. Select the picture. Apply picture effects. Select the picture. Add a border. Select the picture. Compress the picture. Select the picture.
Please right-click the image and choose Size and Properties, then make sure that the Locked checkbox is checked.
Right click on any of the image and click on the option Size and Properties. A Format Picture pane would appear on the right of the worksheet. Expand the Properties section, and select the radio button Move and Size with Cells and thats it, the image is now the part of the cell.
Select the Picture Tools Format tab and select Crop. There are different ways to crop your picture: Drag a cropping handle to crop it from the side, top, or bottom.
How to convert Image to Text, Word, or Excel free online: Upload your image to our free online OCR tool. Choose an option to convert your Image to Text, Word, or Excel. Click on the Convert Image button in order to start the conversion. Wait for the conversion to finish then download your file.
Just as you can use Photoshop and other photo editing software programs to add effects to your images, you can also use Excel for this. Double click your picture to bring up the Format tab, then click the Artistic Effects button. Choose the artistic effect that you want to apply to your image.
Just take a picture of each one, transfer the pictures to your computer (OneDrive is great for this). Then, click Data From Picture Picture From File and follow the on-screen instructions to convert picture to data.
Cropping Pictures in Excel Open the spreadsheet that contains the image you want to crop. Click on the image to select it. Click the Crop button in the Format tab of the ribbon. Drag the cropping handles to crop the image as desired. Click outside of the image to deselect it when youre finished cropping.
Resize an image in Google Sheets Click the image to highlight it. Press and hold your left mouse button on one of the squares on the edge or corner of the image. While still pressing the mouse button, drag the mouse towards the image to decrease its size, or drag away from the image to increase its size.
