To fit an image into a shape in Google Slides, you can mask an image. On your computer, open a presentation. Click the image you want to mask. At the top, next to Crop , click the Down arrow . Click the shape you want. Your shape will mask your image. To adjust your shape, click and drag the colored handles.

When you click on an image in Google Slides, you will see format options, in the toolbar. Clicking on format options will open a sidebar menu where you can fine tune many different things on your image.
The simplest way to edit text in images youre using in PowerPoint is simply to overlay text on or near the image. To do this, click the Insert tab in the menu and then, in the Text area, click Text Box. Then, use your mouse to draw a rectangular text box where you want it and type text into it.
Select the PowerPoint slide/s containing locked shape(s) you need to unlock, then click Unlock objects (Found beneath the Lock Object icon on the PPT Productivity Ribbon). The file will close momentarily and reopen (you need to first save your document to a local drive).
Once you insert the image into PowerPoint and you have it selected, youll see a tab in the ribbon under Picture Tools called Format. Click on this tab to access the picture editing tools.
In Explorer change the . pptx file extension of your presentation to . zip and double click it to open the contents. Look inside the ppt\embeddings folder to see a list of the objects and how big they are.
To edit the screenshot and to zoom in on the part of the screen you are most interested in, right-click and select Crop from the context menu. By dragging the side and the corner handles, you can crop the screenshot ing to your preferences. Click outside of the shaded area and your cropped image will appear.
