To lock a shape or object in PowerPoint, users can go to Selection Pane (under Shapes) and select the “Lock” option, or right-click over the object to lock and then click Lock option, which is available in the context menu.

Select View > Slide Master. Make the text, color, and alignment changes you want. If you want to use a predefined theme, select that first by clicking Themes on the Slide Master tab. Then proceed with selecting Colors, Fonts, Effects, and Background Styles.
Select View > Guides to show the horizontal and vertical center lines. Select View > Gridlines to show more gridlines. Use the lines to align objects. Clear Gridlines and Guides to turn them off.
To move a guide in PowerPoint, click and hold it. The mouse cursor will change to the standard movement icon. Then use your left mouse button to move the guide where you need it.
