Change an existing layout On the View tab, in the Master Views group, click Slide Master. In the pane that contains the slide masters and layouts, click the layout that you want to edit. Edit the layout. In the Close group, click Close Master View.
Open the presentation whose password you want to remove. Select File Info. Select Protect Presentation Encrypt with Password. Clear the password in the Password box, and then click OK.
How to Edit Text on a Microsoft PowerPoint Slide Use your mouse to select the text you want to change. Press Delete . Type your new text.
Password-protected file If you dont enter the password, PowerPoint opens the file for viewing but wont allow you to edit it. If you need to edit the file, contact the author and ask for the modify password or a non-password protected version of the PPT file.
Select the PowerPoint slide/s containing locked shape(s) you need to unlock, then click Unlock objects (Found beneath the Lock Object icon on the PPT Productivity Ribbon). The file will close momentarily and reopen (you need to first save your document to a local drive).
