Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can edit a PDF using Microsoft Word, and as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well lets jump on the desktop. Here I am on my desktop, and I have a PDF file called certificate. Im going to go ahead and click on that and I have this nice certificate that I found online. Its a PDF file and I run a company and I have some employees who I want to celebrate. You know, instead of giving people a pay raise, Im just going to give him this paper certificate and hopefully that makes them satisfied with this company. No, really, Id probably just give him more money, I think that makes people happy and maybe throw the certificate in too, but heres the certificate and unfortunately, its a PDF and I cant edit the name of the recipient. I cant type anything down here. I cant type in a date. Its kind of annoying how its hard to edit PDFs,

Open an email that has attachments. Click Edit Message, to put the email in editable mode. Open one of the attachments (e.g. Word or Excel document) Edit the document and click save, at which point the email is updated with the modified version of the document.
Follow the steps below: Click on the arrow on the side of the file to drop down the options. Upload the file to OneDrive. Once the file is on OneDrive the settings can be edited to allow the file to be uploaded as a copy and the permissions can be changed on who can see the file.
Office files can edited in the browser or the Office app. If you want to edit an attachment thats an unsupported file type, youll have to download and open the file to edit it. Select the message, calendar item or task that contains your attachment. Next to the attachment, select the and choose Edit in Browser.
Enable editing in your document Go to File Info. Select Protect document. Select Enable Editing.
Send as an attachment Click File Share Email, and then choose one of the following options: Send as Attachment Opens an email message with a copy of the file in its original file format attached. Enter the recipients aliases, edit the subject line and message body as necessary, and then click Send.
Use the following steps: Double click the e-mail with the attachment. Up by the move button there is a dropdown, click Edit Message. Open up your attachment. Add your changes and save the document. Close the document and go to File Save in the original message.
Why cant I enable editing in Word? The document is probably locked. To unlock it, you must sign in as the document owner and then remove the password protection restriction. Select File Info Protect Document Encrypt with Password remove the password OK.

Find the Edit Message tool and copy it over to a custom group in the right-hand panel. The Edit Message option should now appear in the message menu bar when there is an attachment.
