Files do not automatically convert. What you are seeing is the result of your computer having been told that the same program (Probably docHub Reader or similar) should open both PDF files and EPS files.
EPS format, or Encapsulated PostScript, is a vector-based file format used in graphic design to store and share images. It was developed by docHub Systems in the 1980s and has since become a widely used format in the design industry, commonly used in both print and digital media.
To be sure that your colleagues can view your graphics and drawings without special software, you can easily convert the files to PDFs before sending. Open Acrobat online services, and follow these five easy steps to convert EPS graphics to PDF. Navigate to the Convert PDF option from the Tools menu.
Choose File/Save As. 2. Choose Encapsulated Postscript as the format and click on Settings. (You can also choose what to call the new file and where to save it.)
How to create and edit an EPS file. Once you have completed the design of an image in Illustrator or a similar program, go to File. Hit Export. Choose Export as EPS. Specify where you want the document saved. Select which pages in the range you want to export when prompted. Set any additional options.
Follow these steps to convert PDF to JPG on iPhone if you have Acrobat Pro: Open a PDF in the Acrobat Reader app. Tap the three-dot menu and choose the Export PDF icon. At the top of the Export PDF page, tap Image. Tap JPEG and then select the pages that you want to convert.
Quick fix | Print PDF as image | Acrobat, Reader Ensure that your printer is turned on and connected. If necessary, test print a different file. Choose File Print, and then click Advanced. Select Print as Image. Click OK to close the Advanced Print Setup dialog box, and then click OK to print.
EPS can be used for images produced by vector-drawing applications such as docHub Illustrator or CorelDraw. However, EPS tends to be a bulky file format, compared with PDF which is a more modern and compact functional equivalent of EPS, so submission of figures in PDF format is encouraged.
Navigate to the convert PDF page on Acrobat online services. Click the Select a File button or drag and drop the file into the drop zone. A dotted line indicates the drop zone when you move your cursor over it. Choose your preferred file format PNG, JPG, or TIFF from the drop-down menu.
How to convert from a PDF into an image file: Open your PDF in docHub Pro and choose file. Export it to the new file format by going to the right pane and choosing Export PDF tool. Choose image format type (e.g., JPG file, TIFF, etc.). Click Export. In Save As dialog box, save your file.
