In order to view the Comment Markup toolbar in Acrobat 7-8, go to the menu bar, select View, scroll down to Toolbars, and click on Comment Markup. The toolbar will then be displayed. In Acrobat 9 and later, the Comment toolbar is located on the top right of your window. Below are the icons of the markup tools.
Highlight your document with PDF software. Open your PDF in Acrobat. Click and drag the cursor to select the area of text you want to highlight. A small toolbox will appear above your text. To modify, click on the highlighted area, and a new tool box will appear.
In Acrobat Reader, complete commenting tools are available only in PDFs with commenting enabled. You can use annotation and drawing markup tools to add comments. Comments are notes and drawings that communicate ideas or provide feedback for PDFs.
Choose Insert Image from the drop down menu under Edit in the standard menu bar or click the Insert Image icon on the tool selection toolbar. You will get a dialog box to find your picture. Navigate to and select the image that you want to insert. Click Open.
There is, however, a built-in PDF viewer on Chrome. With that viewer, you can annotate, highlight, draw on, sign, and fill PDFs. You cant edit existing text on the Google PDF editor, which is really just a built-in viewer in Chrome. If you want to edit PDFs in Google Docs or Google Drive, youll need to convert them.
How to annotate PDF files: Open a PDF in Acrobat and select the Comment tool. Add PDF annotations to your file. You can add text boxes and sticky notes, underline text, strikethrough content, highlight text, and more. Save your file.
To draw on your PDF on Android, select the pencil icon in the toolbar. Choose from a variety of colors and shades for your markups you can even determine the thickness of the pencil marks. Use the other tools in the toolbar to highlight, underline and strike through text, leave comments, and add sticky notes.
To annotate a PDF on Google Drive app, follow the steps below. Open the Google Drive app. Find and open the PDF that you want to annotate. Tap the annotate button located in the bottom right corner. A toolbar with various annotating tools will appear.
