A digital signature is a mathematical technique used to validate the authenticity and integrity of a message, software or digital document. Its the digital equivalent of a handwritten signature or stamped seal, but it offers far more inherent security.
To do so, open the document in docHub or docHub Reader. Click the Signature Panel icon then click Validate All then OK. The software will run a validation check to see if the digital certificate used to sign the document is valid.
This is a process that involves verifying the authenticity of the signatures, stamps and seals of the public officials that appear on the document.
Authentication usually begins with the relevant party signing a document and having it docHubd. Then, county or state officials examine the notary acknowledgement. Finally, the U.S. Department of State certifies the document.
