This video demonstrates how to disable printing for a PDF document. Using a PDF writer, select the printing and viewing tab, ensure the checkbox for allowed printing is deselected, and click publish to protect the document. The protection status window will confirm success. The protected PDF will have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing will be disabled, as indicated by a greyed-out print icon in the viewer. This effectively prevents printing using keyboard shortcuts or the print icon.
