This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable PDF printing by using a PDF writer. To protect a document, locate it in Windows Explorer, right-click, and choose "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, go to the printing and viewing tab, deselect the allowed printing checkbox, and click "Publish." The protection status window will confirm success. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with Locklizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, as indicated by the greyed-out print icon in the Secure Viewer.
