hey everybody welcome back to the BCR garage I am the Bruce City Rider and Im coming at you today with some more Harley maintenance today were going to change out the rear brake pads in my 2013 Harley Davidson Road Glide Custom were also going to inspect the rotor and were gonna check it for thickness and for run-out even if you have an older or a newer Harley touring bike the same general principles that Im going to be showing you in this video will apply to you as well you should always have your service manual and double check everything in there as I did and Im going to show you this some of the tools you might need for this job okay youre gonna need a number two Phillips screwdriver a ratchet or t-handle a couple of extensions a 3/8 and 1/4 inch the sockets youre going to need are a 5 millimeter for the caliper pin and an 8 millimeter for the caliper bolt you can also use a 5/16 if you dont have an 8 millimeter theyre very similar in size youll need a step-down adapter
