Deleting or Hiding Images Using the Edit Text Images option in Acrobat XIs Tools menu, you can click on any image to select it. Pressing the Delete key will remove the image entirely. As an alternative, you can permanently hide the images to avoid changing the pages layout.
Even though the option to select the text within a PDF isnt available, especially for scanned PDFs, you can always use the PDF to Word tool to convert your document into an editable file. With this, you can freely remove, edit, or enhance existing text on your digital file, as per your needs.
Do one of the following: Place your pointer over the object. Your pointer will turn into a little hand, also known as a move pointer. Place your pointer over one of the objects control handles. Press Delete to remove the object from the PDF.
Open the PDF in the Edit tab. Click the Edit PDF Image button on the main toolbar (if you see a warning about text, or you dont have this button, skip to the alternate method below) Select the Eraser. Erase.
Move your mouse over the PDF file to select the image(s) you to remove. After selecting the image(s), you can directly press the Delete key on your keyboard to remove the image. Alternatively, you can also right-click on the image and select Delete from the menu.
The Eraser tool can make pixels transparent or match them to the image background color. Select the Eraser tool (E) . Use the Options bar to customize tool settings, like Size and Hardness, to get the effect you want. Drag over the parts of the image you want to erase.

Delete Images from PDF Click the Edit button on the menu bar. You can now edit PDF images and graphics. Move your mouse over the PDF file to select the image(s) you to remove. After selecting the image(s), you can directly press the Delete key on your keyboard to remove the image.
