- This video is all about when you should not be shooting log footage and a little bit about when you should. (upbeat music) If youre new here, my name is Jeven Dovey, I do a lot of filmmaking tutorials, a bunch of camera reviews and some cool adventure stuff, and today were talking about log footage and if its something that you should shoot. More and more today, cameras are coming out with the capabilities to shoot log. What log is is a flattened image, but the reason that you shoot log footage is to preserve the highlights and to preserve the darks. So what it does is it basically flattens out your exposure, so youre shootin right in the middle of highlights and darks, and what that does is it preserves your dynamic range, and every camera has a specific dynamic range native to the camera. So it might be 14 stops, it might be 16, it might be 18, whatever your camera may have, and theres a specific range of the amount of stops of light that your censor will pickup. Now log pre

Wood and timber are not accepted in your household recycling but can be taken to most Recycling Centres - find your nearest below. There are also wood recycling organisations, such as Community Wood Recycling, which will collect re-usable wood for recycling, often for less than the cost of hiring a skip.
Why cant I put wood into the recycling bin? Wood contaminates the recycling stream which is meant to be clean, residue-free, and only made up of items for recycling curbside (paper, plastics, glass, etc.). Wood can be reused or recycled into woodchips/mulch when brought to a proper facility.
Remove as much as possible, pile it in a corner and allow it to compost for 12months, you can then use it as a mulch. Then add plenty of well-rotted manure, soil conditioner or garden compost before attempting to replant. If a tree stump is left in the ground it can still be treated to kill it and prevent regrowth.
Wood such as clean timber, dimensional lumber, stumps and limbs are readily recyclable. Wood that has been treated (with creosote, for example), painted, stained or contaminated is not appropriate for recycling and should be properly disposed of.
Wood is not a hazardous material, and you can typically bag it up and throw it out with your normal trash. If the wood can be repurposed for construction, docHub out to local nonprofits to see if they can find a use for it. You can take large sums of wood to a disposal facility.
All American Disposal Service has apparently ceased operations, with no warning or notification to customers, who are paying around $275 a year for the service.
Waste Connections has announced its acquisition of American Disposal Services, one of the largest remaining private companies in the Mid-Atlantic.
