Select the cells that you want to format and then, in the Number group on the Home tab, click the down arrow in the Number Format box. Choose either Currency or Accounting.

Negative numbers are not displayed in parentheses, but they have a negative symbol, and zero values are displayed with an actual zero.
To format a number ing to a particular currency, we can call NumberFormat. getCurrencyInstance() to get a format object. Calling format() on this object with our number will format our number ing to the currency of the default locale.
Generally, you should use the Format Cells dialog (Ctrl+1) or Home Number Accounting Number Format option to apply a currency formatting to a cell.
