hey welcome to hauser channel in todays tutorial you will learn how to delete recent microsoft word documents when you open microsoft word a list of recently opened documents appears on the left side of the screen you can clear documents from the list or if youd rather not see recent documents at all disable the list entirely open microsoft word or the word document you need click on file at the top left corner of the window select home from the left side list you will see a list of recent files at the right side of the window select options from the left side list new window will open select advanced from the left side list go to display block look for show this number of recent documents option set the value to zero click ok to apply changes click on file at the top left corner of the window select home from the left side list you will see the list of recent files is empty thats it thanks for watching the video please like it and let us know if you used any of our tips and tricks
